Hi, I'm a new member. Anyone travel to Port Arthur? I walked into St Mary's Hospital where J was born and got the most tremendous rush. I drove by her childhood home a couple times but didn't want to be seen as a stalker. The town sucks. I mean... no offense to people who like desolation.... but I can see why she left. Part of the reason i felt so connected to J when I discovered her (when i was 20, in 1993) was because I had just left a small shitkicker town in Texas for a life on my own. She said so much in her pained voice that I would just cry sometimes. Summertime hurts me still. It is so sad, even to someone that was born after her death, to have lost someone so important.
